The WhatsApp Apps for Small and Medium Enterprises are now living in India. The app downloaded more than 100,000 to 500,000 on Google Play Store and has been announced worldwide last week. The applications were first launched in Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the UK and USA and are currently limited to the Android platform. For WhatsApp business ventures and if a user's number is registered in a regular account, they will be distributed from there, to use the same number of business versions of this app.
The WhatsApp app is free to download and claim that it is "easy to connect with customers with companies, and it's easy for our 1.3 billion users to chat with important businesses for them". Businesses will be able to add their details when they create a WhatsApp business account, may include a profile picture, email address, store address, website link, mobile number and other details.
Businesses will have the option to send messages to customers, create messages. They will be given insight into their messages and will be able to see what has worked for them on the platform. Also WhatsApp will give you the option of using the WhatsApp web for SME business accounts.
WhatsApp will start in the future as well as the business app account verification. For an account to verify, the business listing phone number matches the WhatsApp account number. Verification accounts will have a green tile beside them. According to WhatsApp, 84% of SBI customers in India help their customers contact their customers, which explains why this department is focusing in this section. WhatsApp also plans to add large organizations to its services and this may be monetized in the future. For now, consumers have no option to block WhatsApp as well as reporting WhatsApp and spam
